I’m truly trying to create these blog posts to help explain why we love this area so much. At the same time, Andrea and I also want these posts to reflect who we are as people and as hosts.
It’s important to us that when you read these, you get a feel for who we are—not just where we stay or what we recommend.
In my first couple blog posts, I included a lot of pictures because honestly… I found I won’t read anything unless there are photos with it. After going back and rereading them later, I realized I probably don’t need that many pictures after all.
Andrea loves reading. Me? Not so much. Half the time I’m reading something and suddenly realize I haven’t paid attention for two pages and need to go back and reread it all over again 😄
So moving forward, I’m going to try and keep things a little simpler and focus more on just sharing our experiences. That may be hard for me though—I’m the guy who gets excited when a restaurant menu has pictures too.
We’ve got plenty of ideas we want to write about, and we’ll continue sharing our daily life as short-term rental hosts and the little adventures, date nights, restaurants, and relaxing moments we enjoy around Daytona Beach.
We will absolutely be posting pictures of our date nights, food, and places we enjoy around Daytona Beach… just maybe not 47 pictures in one post anymore.
Every Wednesday, Andrea and I plan on posting a new blog sharing pieces of our life related to vacation rentals, hosting, and the fun little day trips and experiences we enjoy here in Daytona Beach.
We hope you follow along, and honestly, we hope we do well enough that you eventually look forward to our posts each week.
